Our Story
Lian Huat Seafood is a fishmongery and online seafood supplier that was first established on 12 November 1974 by then key principal, Teh Eng Kwang. It started out as a premium seafood wholesaler before rapidly evolving into its current form as a fishmongery when it was handed into the hands of the current manager of Lian Huat Seafood, Mr. Max Kee, in 1988.
Today, Lian Huat Seafood is a bustling and lively seafood supplier and fishmongery that provides seafood across the entire Republic of Singapore. It currently has one stall at 50 Gambas Cresent called Lian Huat Fish Soup Restaurant that provides meals to those who enter the place and the main fishmongery that is situated at 35 Jurong Fishery Port.
Its current owner, Mr. Max Kee, has been known for his charming and charismatic personality when Energy Market Authority met him in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Quoted from Energy Market Authority, he 'has reinvented the process of selling fresh seafood, through live video streaming'. So, what are waiting for?
